After attending Roger Williams University’s Historic Preservation Program, Mr. DaFonseca went on to care for one of the nation’s most treasured historic sites, George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia. Assisting in restoration efforts to the 500 acre estate, he completed projects on the beloved house, while also being mindful of public safety and museum regulations. In addition to Mr. DaFonseca’s preservation efforts in Virginia, he has also taken part in maintaining properties in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.
